Her paintings contain a variety of images from nature rendered in watercolors and colored pencil. Her seasonal art includes
spring, summer and winter floral compositions. The autumn season includes ruddy leaves, dried spiky seed pods and vibrant
Indian corn. Another theme is comprised of still life arrangements including baskets, Native American pottery, turtles,
butterflies and other items from nature.(1) Each subject is drawn in detail from the actual objects and later painted. These
subjects may later be incorporated as elements in other compositions. The appreciation for realistic representation does not,
however, inhibit fanciful compositions for the viewer’s (and her own) enjoyment.
The note cards and prints (reproduced from her original art) are printed on good quality card stock with some percentage of
recycled paper, and she urges everyone to both buy and use recycled items.
