The inspiration for the Autumn Treasures Series B began with the basket that has a bent
wooden handle and such an interesting shape. It is a favorite to take on walks looking for
the subjects that I would love to draw and paint.
And of course, since autumn is my mostest favorite time of the year, these baskets just have
to be filled with colorful leaves and fruit and gourds! Colored pencil and watercolor provide
the vivid colors. Note cards and prints are available.

'Basket, leaves and butterfly'
The basket with the curved wooden handle has intrigued me for a long while. The wonderful color of
the autumn leaves is bold complement to the passive basket. Of course, persuading the butterfly to
hover indefinitely (not) was interesting, too.

'Basket with Pomegranates'
A basket, yes a collectable, was intriguing in construction and the colorful pomegranates with their
wonderful prickly tufts were just too tempting! In watercolor.
