The hydrangeas grew in my back yard - first success ever! The first hydrangea is
colored pencil. The second is watercolor.
The sunflowers were inspired by a gift from a friend who found them at the North
Carolina Farmer's Market in Raleigh. Aren't they wonderful? Both are created with
colored pencil.
These are available as 8 1/2 x 11" signed and numbered prints, with 11 x 14" matte
black mats. There are a few remaining of the first run of 20.

The striking yellow and brown of the flower itself is lovely. And the leaves and stems are so
fuzzy! But it's part of the plant, so here it is...

The back of the sunflower is as interesting as the flower itself, although not as striking. And
it is fuzzy, too!
